Hello and welcome back.
Firstly, we are very happy to see you returning to us safely after this period of such uncertainty. Lots has obviously changed everywhere since your last appointment and we have trawled through the governments 42 pages of guidelines to get ready for opening.
Please take the time to have a read through the safety precautions that will be in place. We want to assure you that we have taken measures to keep you and me safe during your appointment .If you have any concerns please feel free to contact us to discuss. Remember we are following the government and industry guidelines. I am sure these new things will take a while for us all to become accustomed too.
We hope that no one will be offended by any steps that are in place as this is a high risk close contact environment and I will be coming into close contact with lots of people without being able to socially distance. I need to take serious steps to protect you, myself and our businesses ability to stay open. For many, myself included who have underlying health conditions, I want you to feel safe.
Please do not attend your appointment if you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or have been into direct contact with anyone else who is. Please let us know as soon as possible. You will not be charged for cancellation and your appointment will be rescheduled.
A high temperature
A new continuous cough
A loss or change to your usual sense of taste or smell.
NHS track and trace system.
The government has asked that we comply and assist with the NHS track and trace system. We are required to keep temporary records of all clients who attend appointments for 21 days to allow them to be contacted in the event that COVID-19 is reported.
We are operating by appointment only.
One person at a time so you will be the only client in the salon throughout your appointment. No walk ins.
We would ask that you attend appointments alone and bring only the essential personal belongings. No food and drink unless necessary for medical reasons.
We have a water machine with disposable cups available for your convenience
If possible please pay by card payment.
We accept contactless, apple, android pay.
We will still accept cash if necessary.
I will be doing temperature checks at the door.
Anyone arriving with a temperature of 37.8 and above will not be able to enter the salon and unfortunately your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
I hope this will help to reassure you that we are doing our utmost to prevent direct contact with someone who may be potentially infected. I will be taking my temperature daily as well and I am happy to take my temperature before your appointment. We won’t ask you to do anything we aren’t willing to do ourselves.
We kindly ask you to arrive wearing a mask.
Please advise if there is a medical reason you cannot do so.
We can provide a disposable mask if you do not have one. Just let us know beforehand and I will have one ready.
I will be wearing a visor and using fully disposable PPE for both myself and you. This will be changed between every appointment and disposed of. The salon will be fully disinfected between every client appointment using industry standard sanitation products to ensure maximum cleanliness.
I will ask you to wash your hands on entry.
We have a new hand wash station at the front of the salon.
Hand sanitiser will also be available.
Please arrive at the time of your scheduled appointment.
We do not have a waiting area.
If you arrive more than 10 mins late for your appointment, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment as we are working to a strict schedule to implement the safety procedures to keep us all safe. We would respectfully ask you to reschedule.
We will advise you by text message if there is an unavoidable delay to your appointment time on the day to avoid your need to wait outside and maintain safety procedures.
“First visit back and COVID-19” salon pricing changes.
Due to the high costs involved in PPE we have had to implement a small increase to prices. We are not passing on all of the costs involved. There will be £1 added to every service.
For all clients returning to the salon for their first colour service appointments, we hope you will understand that we will be using extra products to cover the missed appointments and therefore we will have to pass on the additional products costs. This will be purely to cover the cost of products. This may add up to £15 to your first visit back colour service (only).
If anyone has been creative with home colour during lockdown I reserve the right to implement colour correction costs. I will discuss this with you before commencing any service.
